I will be attending the Dallas Green Festival on September 18, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 2:30. This is the first time I have ever done a mass butterfly release, but it is a great way to teach our younger generation to love life and our planet.
There will be:
outdoor recreation zone
Monarch Butterfly tagging
recycled arts and crafts
food and live music
children's area
green demonstrations
vendors and artisans.
This event is sponsored by Green Mountain Energy. Green Mountain Energy is the power company I use at my personal residence. Preservation Tree Services and Wendy Krispin Catering will be sponsoring as well.
The event should be small but a lot of fun. Any time Texas Discovery Gardens is involved, it will be fun. I will see you there.
